My Original Work was due this week and I finally finished it. Throughout this week, I split up my work into increments and didn’t expect everything to take so long. I soon began to realize that my final duration of work would be a lot longer than expected. I faced a lot of challenges throughout this project especially with property formatting my analysis. I was unsure of which format to use, however, after checking out the articles I used on my research assessment, I learned that I needed to use Chicago style citations. I solved this problem by then learning how to properly cite and implemented it into my project. Chicago style came in great use and I liked the way it all came out at the end. It was a great learning experience because I dealt with a style that was very new to me..After multiple hours of working, I finally finished my Original Work. I learned a lot about my Supreme Court Case and the difficulties in patent-eligibility. My Original Work, in the end, was a total of 12 pages and around 2500 words. This is my first time writing such a big research paper and I am glad I could accomplish it. I succeeded in the content I wanted to provide and it sounds great. Alongside my project, I completed my Original Work assessment and rewrote my Original Work proposal. A few questions that arose throughout this process were: What can I do for my FInal Product? How am I going to present my Original Work at the showcase? I need to learn more about patent applications and the differences in patent laws in countries. I need to meet with my mentor next week and discuss future plans as mentorship is about to start. In conclusion, I finished my Original Work and plan on researching more about what I can do my final product.
