Getting Focused

This week was a lot more focused on my original work idea and how I plan on executing. My idea is to create a proposal for patent law. As a part of my Research Assessments, I have been reading proposals by different organizations and have noticed many issues with their wording and how not all industries apply to their laws. I want to create my own topic proposal possibly for a specific field or create a proposal that can be evaluated by the common man about patent- eligibility. There will a lot of challenges with this because I have to understand engineering which is a key concept in creating this proposal. I am very new to the engineering field, but I plan on overcoming this by focusing more on the idea rather than the technicalities. I might also not focus too hard on that component. I realize that I need to start learning more about engineering and should focus more on it. I learned a lot about colleges and law schools this week because I met with a couple of lawyers at breakfast. The whole experience really well and I am glad that I got to connect with them outside of just work. I learned more about the procedures in litigation and now I have more questions on the differences between litigation in law fields. The week was great and I plan on diving into the engineering field a lot and the litigation aspect next week.
